Melissa Pollack

Melissa Pollack is the District Manager of several Southern California SRC locations and General Manager of the Odyssey. She began working in the hospitality industry 17 years ago as a hostess and graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Communications Studies with a focus in providing excellent guest service. Melissa believes that letting individual personalities shine through connects your customers and establishes your expertise, so make it personal and fun! She really enjoys interacting with guests and ensuring an amazing experience at The Odyssey. Melissa loves hearing about guests’ special moments here at our establishment… Where memories are made. Her goal is to make every guest feel like they are at home.

Cheree Fernando

Assistant General Manager

Cheree Fernando is one of the restaurant managers at the Odyssey. She has been with SRC for three years. Cheree graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management and has over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry. She is very customer service oriented and has a strong desire to fulfill every guest’s needs. Her goal is to always make sure each guest is treated as a “VIP” and their experience is an unforgettable one. She is passionate and full of energy. She loves everything about the Odyssey; the clientele, the atmosphere, and the staff!

Marcos Arana

Executive Chef

Marcos Arana is our executive chef. He has over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry. He was born in Guatemala and raised in Los Angeles. He attended culinary school and worked in both Asia and Europe, lending to his diverse cooking style. He previously worked at The Sky Room, S.L.E.C. in Studio City, Calabasas Country Club, C.T.T.T. at Universal City Walk. Wolfgang Puck Catering and Boa Steak House in Hollywood. Now at the Odyssey, Marcos looks forward to bringing smiles to his guests with their team of talented chefs!

Melissa Saldibar

Director of Catering & Special Events

Melissa Saldibar was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley and launched her career shortly after graduating high school with SRC. She started as a hostess in 1998 at The Odyssey Restaurant and after only one year, was promoted to Catering Assistant and then Catering Manager for the sales office when Management realized the potential she had in sales and customer service.

Melissa knew right away after joining SRC that her gift and passion was in the restaurant and banquet industry. She enjoyed raising the bar as she accepted new roles and responsibilities in each restaurant including; The Proud Bird, Luminarias, Monterey Hill and the Odyssey Restaurant.

From 1998-2010 Melissa supported the different units increase sales, streamline day to day operations and train staff to provide a most memorable experience for every guest that would developing long lasting relationships. She did leave SRC briefly as the Associate Director of Sportsmen’s Lodge Event Center which gave her the skills and experience needed for a leadership role in any banquet facility. In February of 2015, she was brought back to the SRC family and is looking forward to continuing this relationship as the new Director of Catering at The Odyssey.

Luis Camacho

Special Events Operations Manager

Luis Camacho is the special events operations manager. He has worked with SRC for 30 years. He is in charge of executing all private events -- handling set-ups, staffing, timings, special needs and/or accommodations, last minute changes, increases and more. Luis has a great sense of humor, is customer service oriented and a great team player.
